On the evening of Monday September 17th, a Russian Illiushin-20 aircraft was mistakenly shot by the Syrian anti-aircraft defense, according to Moscow. It opened fire in order to intercept Israeli missiles aimed at ammunition dumps in the northwestern province of Latakia.
The four-engine propeller, generally used for surveillance missions, disappeared from radar on Monday at 23:00 (20:00 GMT), off the coast of Latakia, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, adding that it was “shot down by a system of S-200 missiles “of the Syrian army, killing the 15 crew members.
However, the Russian army has directed its anger against the Israeli Zionist entity, which it held responsible for the tragedy because of its four F-16s missiles.
Indeed, “using it as a shield, the Israeli pilots sheltered themselves behind the Russian Il-20 plane, which found itself under fire from Syrian S-200 air defense systems,” the spokesman from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konachenkov, said Tuesday adding that Israeli planes had “deliberately created a dangerous situation for ships and aircraft in the region”.
Violating its coordination agreements, the Zionist entity had not warned Russia of its military operation; thus, Moscow considers their approache hostile and reserves the right to respond.
“We consider these provocations as a hostile act from Israel” and “we reserve the right to adequately respond,” warned the Russian spokesman.
Following the tragedy, the Israeli ambassador to Moscow, Gary Koren, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry, while the Zionist occupation army expressed regret and deferred responsibility for the Damascus incident.
President Vladimir Putin, after presenting his condolences to the families of the victims, spoke of additional security measures that will be taken by Moscow for its military and its bases in Syria which will be “felt by all”.
Among these measures, Russia may decide to create a no-fly zone in Syria using its S-300s and S-400s or use help from the SU-35 squadrons or MIG-35 equipped with unstoppable missiles which will be able to nail on the ground not only the Israeli air force, but also the US-NATO armada. A decision Russia has always hesitated to take but is now considering.
This drama comes just hours after the announcement of a Russian-Turkish agreement on the creation of a demilitarized zone at Idlib; the last major terrorist stronghold where the Syrian army and its allies are preparing a major military operation to recover the region.
This buffer zone will be set up in mid-October, and terrorist groups including Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly the Al-Nusra Front), will be excluded and will have to leave the region after being disarmed.
This agreement satisfies Damascus and its Russian and Iranian allies, because it will allow the Syrian army to easily recover the region of Idlib, avoiding a bloodbath and then consecrate the final victory of the Axis of Resistance on the terrorist forces in the pay of the American-Zionist Empire.
A defeat so unbearable for the Israeli entity that it directly attacked Russian interests in Latakia and Homs hoping to derail the agreement and delay the inevitable Syrian triumph.
Moscow is not mistaken, as evidenced by the words of the spokesman of the Kremlin, Dimitri Peskov, quoted by the ITAR-TASS news agency, saying that “The crash of the Il-20 aircraft will not have an impact on the agreement reached by the Russian and Turkish leaders on the creation of a demilitarized zone in the Syrian province of Idlib “.
Be that as it may, it is certain that the irresponsible and hysterical criminal action of the Zionist regime will not be without consequences, both in its relations with Moscow and in the regional equation.
An action that shows the whole world that Israel does not want peace in Syria, quite the contrary, and that proves to all of the pseudo-experts who populate our television sets and who too often “forget” to specify that the Zionist entity is a major player in this conflict which it helped provoke (behind the scenes) and caused the death of hundreds of thousands.
The Anti-Zionist Party strongly condemns the Israeli action that resulted in the deaths of 15 Russian soldiers, and offers its condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to all the Russian people.
This is a nameless act of betrayal for those who naively believed in a Russian-Israeli “partnership”, and who no doubt has come to understand the profound nature of the Zionist entity which can’t be trusted and has no ally.
A criminal regime that does not hesitate to kill innocent civilians but, when it comes to those who are stronger than it, does not have the courage to directly carry out its dirty work, as was just proven in its plan to bring down the Russian plane by the Syrian DCA instead of doing it itself.
A typical action of the Zionist ideology, cunning, cowardly, and irresponsible, because it can have incalculable consequences and drag the world, through the games of alliance, into a generalized war.
But it is certain that Russia will soon respond to this criminal act, and that this Zionist provocation, which hoped to delay the victory of the Axis of resistance in Syria, will only accelerate it.
Israel, feeling powerful and untouchable because of the protection of its US godfather, thinks it is protected while playing with the Russian fire which is putting the world in danger.
It is time for our officials to take a stand in order to bring this criminal and hysterical entity to justice. An entity which will not hesitate to drag all of us drag us into the abyss.
