French-Made Weapons Discovered in Eastern Ghouta

A major weapons warehouse, owned by terrorists and containing French-made weapons, was found in a region of Eastern Ghouta recently liberated by Syrian Government troops, said the Iranian Fars agency on Monday.

“On Sunday, the Syrian Air Force carried out further raids on terrorist bastions in Eastern Ghouta, destroying an Al-Nusra Front arms warehouse before the daily [humanitarian] truce [ established in the region”, the agency further specified.

The Syrian air force bombed Al-Nusra positions in the town of Jesrine and destroyed several, it further indicated.

At the same time, ground troops were engaged in new clashes with terrorists in south eastern Ghouta, the eastern suburb of the Syrian capital, establishing control over a range of localities.
